On March 3rd, 2023, we launched DIRE, demanding that Brown DIssociates from fossil fuels and REinvests in Rhode Island. Since then, we've updated the campaign to demand fossil fuel DIssociation and REspect towards the Providence community.​ We're demanding that Brown University cut ties with the fossil fuel industry in order to challenge the systems that perpetuate climate change and threaten to destroy marginalized communities around the world. 

Since launching our campaign, we've received over 1,200 undergraduate signatures in support of dissociation and the endorsements of 48 organizations across the world.
